COURSE 1: Natural Materials - Start August 3rd, 2024

Schedule: Four weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 12 noon Mountain Daylight Time
Duration: Sixteen hours of live, online instruction
Course Overview: This course aims to smell, analyze, discuss, and memorize the most common essential oils, absolutes, animal musks, and CO2 extracts in natural perfumery. Remembering:
How a material smells
How powerful a material is
How long a material lasts
This is the first and most important task of the perfumer!
Course Goals:
Memorize natural perfume materials, essential oils, absolutes, and animal musks
Understand the characteristics and uses of CO2 extracts
Course Structure:
Classes are 2 hours each
Meet Saturdays and Sundays on Zoom
Five materials studied in each class
Note: All lessons are live online and recorded for later viewing in case you miss a class.
